OH RIGHT. See, I eventually figured out her Wikipedia death date was wrong, but I had only partially updated my mental chronology. I still had her dying before her sons in my head, even though I knew the dates and had updated my family tree accordingly. Sheesh.
Which means she had to experience her sons killing each other in addition to losing the stepson just a few years younger than herself whom she was fond of.
Oh, gosh, poor thing. :( I should do something nice for her, like work her into a fic or something. :P
